Falcon Fund Frequently Asked Questions

Why have an Annual Findley Falcon Fund?

The PTA has learned that our families prefer making a financial contribution that goes directly to our school. Every fall, the PTA kicks off the Findley Falcon Fund campaign. Money raised will be used to cover the exceptional programs and ongoing improvements that you have come to expect at Findley Oaks Elementary.

I already pay property taxes which help fund public education." Why should I donate to the annual fund?

Annual Fund donations are essential to delivering the high-quality programs and activities at Findley Oaks that would not otherwise be possible. Financial contributions by Findley Oaks parents fill the educational gap between local government funding. This additional parental support is a key reason Findley Oaks is consistently ranked among the Georgia’s top elementary schools.

Is 100% participation by parents important?

Yes. 100% participation in the Falcon Fund shows our commitment to the school, its teachers and staff, and to our children. A high participation also indicates that we are committed to the school and involved in its future well-being.

How do I know how much to give?

The recommended donation is $65 for families with one student at Findley Oaks, $115 for families with two children at the school, and $150 for families with 3+ students at the school.

Who can donate to the Annual Fund?

Anyone! Donations from parents, grandparents, other family members, neighbors, friends, and even Findley Oaks alumni are welcome! Every gift counts, and every gift is appreciated. If you know someone who is also proud of their Findley Oaks Falcon, please send them a link to this webpage to learn more.

Are donations tax deductible?

The Findley Oaks PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Every donation to the Annual fund is 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  The PTA will send you a tax receipt for your records.
